And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. Sweet Publishing / Ĩ Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof…… 9 And they said, Stand back. 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Genesis 19:4 KJV But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. They were haughty and did detestable things before me…” The Hebrew word translated “detestable” refers to something that is morally disgusting and is the exact same word used in Leviticus 18:22 that refers to homosexuality as an “abomination.” Similarly, Jude 7 declares, “…Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion.” So, again, while homosexuality was not the only sin in which the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah indulged, it does appear to be the primary reason for the destruction of the cities…. Ezekiel 16:49-50 declares, “Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned they did not help the poor and needy. The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were definitely not exclusive in terms of the sins in which they indulged. At the same time, it is not biblical to say that homosexuality was the exclusive reason why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
The men of Sodom and Gomorrah wanted to perform homosexual gang rape on the two angels (who were disguised as men). Clearly, homosexuality was part of why God destroyed the two cities. That is how the term “sodomy” came to be used to refer to anal sex between two men, whether consensual or forced. ….In light of the passage, the most common response to the question “What was the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah?” is that it was homosexuality. Question: “What was the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah?” The outcry was for justice toward their sin. The sin committed in these cities and the surrounding cities was crying out to God in heaven. Genesis 18:20 KJV And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous
The time close to Christs return will resemble the days of Lot. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. Luke 17:28 KJV Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. These are but a few of the signs told in scripture that proceed the second coming of Christ. The events in the middle east, the gay movement, the aligning of certain countries, and the world getting ready for war. There will be a new heaven and earth, and Christ will reign from Jerusalem. The gay agenda is being pushed everywhere and it has a significant purpose. The difference being, this time, God will destroy the earth with fire. This movement is not new but is a repeat of Sodom and Gomorrah. What makes the LGBT movement important? It is fulfilling prophecy concerning events that will occur before the second coming of Christ. It is because society as a whole is increasing in their indifference to God. Isaiah 5:20 KJV 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil that put darkness for light, and light for darkness that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!) will gain strength from here but very few know why. In scripture the calling of evil good and good evil says. As we watch history repeat itself most have no idea the significance of the homosexual movement. The days of Sodom and Gomorrah are making a come back.
